The First Integrated Farming Plan on Family land
6/21/2026
Our family's land was cultivated in a simple way for years - crops were separate, livestock was separate. One day I thought, what if all of this could be combined?
First idea
After studying about integrated agriculture and researching in various places, I realized that it was possible to use the waste of one for the other - for example, cow dung as fertilizer on the crop land, and the remaining part of the crop as animal feed.
Discussion with family
I discussed this new idea with the elders of the family. At first, there was some hesitation, because it was a change like moving away from old habits.
Step-by-step implementation
Instead of changing everything at once, we moved forward in small steps. First, we fixed the manure management, then gradually integrated the other parts.
Today's results
Now, crop cultivation, livestock farming, and beekeeping work in harmony with each other on our farm. This journey is still ongoing, and I am learning something new every day.
